About the role
- Own the end-to-end commercial lifecycle: prospecting, qualification, structuring, negotiation, closing, and ongoing account management
- Act as the primary point of contact for our active client portfolio, building trusted long-term relationships
- Oversee the end-to-end drawdown process in close coordination with credit, risk, and operations
- Act as a trusted advisor, aligning Vane’s financing solutions with client needs and priorities
- Drive hands-on improvements to commercial processes, tools, and workflows (including Salesforce and reporting)
- Identify opportunities for renewals, upsells, and expanded facilities across the existing customer base
- Implement new commercial initiatives and strategies in close collaboration with the leadership team
- Work cross-functionally with product, tech, credit, risk, and operations to ensure smooth execution
- Represent Vane with clients and partners in meetings and selected industry events
Requirements
- 2-3+ years experience in B2B sales or client-facing commercial roles (including account management)
- Background in fintech, financial services, or tech-enabled industries preferred
- Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and long-term client relationships with high ownership
- Strong consultative selling skills, with excellent organisation and communication
- Self-starter mindset; comfortable taking ownership and driving change, and improving how things are done
- Tech affinity and confidence working with tools and data (Salesforce/CRM experience is a plus)
- Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with product, tech, credit, risk, and operations
- Comfortable working across European and US markets
- Fluent in English
