About the role

  • Own the end-to-end commercial lifecycle: prospecting, qualification, structuring, negotiation, closing, and ongoing account management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for our active client portfolio, building trusted long-term relationships
  • Oversee the end-to-end drawdown process in close coordination with credit, risk, and operations
  • Act as a trusted advisor, aligning Vane’s financing solutions with client needs and priorities
  • Drive hands-on improvements to commercial processes, tools, and workflows (including Salesforce and reporting)
  • Identify opportunities for renewals, upsells, and expanded facilities across the existing customer base
  • Implement new commercial initiatives and strategies in close collaboration with the leadership team
  • Work cross-functionally with product, tech, credit, risk, and operations to ensure smooth execution
  • Represent Vane with clients and partners in meetings and selected industry events

Requirements

  • 2-3+ years experience in B2B sales or client-facing commercial roles (including account management)
  • Background in fintech, financial services, or tech-enabled industries preferred
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and long-term client relationships with high ownership
  • Strong consultative selling skills, with excellent organisation and communication
  • Self-starter mindset; comfortable taking ownership and driving change, and improving how things are done
  • Tech affinity and confidence working with tools and data (Salesforce/CRM experience is a plus)
  • Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with product, tech, credit, risk, and operations
  • Comfortable working across European and US markets
  • Fluent in English
