Closing, Funding Manager

• Team Leadership: Direct and oversee the performance of both managerial and non-managerial staff within the servicing transfers department.
• Set Prioritization: Work with executive leadership to understand the priority order of incoming new projects, ensuring the team is properly staffed to handle all incoming business.
• ValonOS Tooling Improvements: Coordinate with Valon Technology teams to ensure that ValonOS tools are constantly improved to support servicing transfer processes and priorities.

• Lead the design and development of Valon’s flagship iOS app

Staff iOS Engineer – Consumer

Analyst

• Serve as the primary liaison between the QC/LRC (legal, risk, compliance) Departments and Loan Administration stakeholders for all audits/exams.
• Partner with the Compliance to ensure proper understanding and submission for audit documentation requirements.
• Engage with the Loan Administration management for the collection of data and fulfillment of external audit requests. Review and follow up to obtain documents and information in a timely manner.
• Project managed assigned audits from start to finish, maintaining visibility on due dates, dependencies, and deliverables
• Assist in providing material and documentation for agency, investor and state exams, and internal servicing QC reviews.

Audit Analyst

• Become a subject matter expert in the Valon Data Schema (VDS) and our system conversion framework.
• Partner with the System Conversion Project Manager to plan and prepare client-specific conversion projects, developing a deep understanding of each client’s data and document structures.
• Participate in detailed mapping meetings with the client’s servicing, data, and operations teams to determine how every field in their system maps to VDS.
• Create, document, and iterate on data mappings for all required fields, ensuring each transformation aligns with Valon’s data standards.
• Provide client-approved mappings to engineering teams and ensure accurate implementation in conversion code.
• Conduct end-to-end testing of each conversion, validating that all fields are translated correctly and completely.
• Iterate and finalize mappings based on test results until the conversion is fully validated and production-ready.
• Complete and document the final conversion, identifying reusable mappings to accelerate future projects for clients on similar systems.

System Conversion Data Mapping Analyst

Project Manager

• Develop deep familiarity with the Valon Data Schema (VDS) to the point of becoming a subject matter expert.
• Build a client-specific conversion project plan (in collaboration with the System Conversion Data Mapping Analyst and leadership) to fully migrate all data and documents from the client’s existing servicing system into ValonOS.
• Coordinate with client stakeholders to schedule and lead conversion mapping meetings, ensuring the right subject matter experts are engaged for each area.
• Prepare clear agendas and supporting materials ahead of each session to enable productive discussions.
• Facilitate mapping sessions with the client’s data and operations teams to help Valon’s Data Mapping Analyst capture how each data field will translate into VDS.
• Track deliverables, open questions, and dependencies, following through to ensure all action items are completed.
• Record and document detailed meeting notes and next steps, distributing them to all participants to maintain shared context.
• Partner with the client’s data team to obtain final approval of mappings created by the Valon team.

System Conversion Project Manager

Data Analyst

• Partner with business leaders to improve operational visibility and support externally-facing reports to clients
• Develop knowledge and expertise around the data tables across all areas of the business
• Write SQL queries, build dashboards, and conduct ad hoc analysis to help operational leaders understand business performance and identify root causes

Insurance

• Manage the Property Insurance team and supervise day-to-day operations to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks related to escrow, insurance lines, procurement, refunds, and delinquent payments
• Track homeowners insurance to ensure active policies on all accounts and timely payment of renewal policies
• Distribute and assign work based on workload and resources
• Provide ongoing training, conduct performance reviews, coaching, and develop team members
• Build out the property insurance team and operationalize new processes by creating training materials, SOPs, documenting best practices, and driving adoption

• Maintain, review, follow up, and ensure timely and accurate completion of all regularly scheduled steps, including outstanding/late steps, within the foreclosure tracking template on a daily basis.
• Obtain approval for and properly manage any outstanding or upcoming events/tasks, including, but not limited to, completing steps within deadlines and ensuring the accuracy of dates entered.
• Communicate with assigned attorneys/trustees via vendor tracking software regarding delays and/or pending inquiries.
• Utilize all applicable tools available to effectively manage pipeline, system of record, and vendor tracking software.
