About the role
- Lead pressure parts engineering for recovery and power boilers, including basic and detail design phases.
- Provide input data for other disciplines and ensure compliance with technical standards.
- Work as a sub-project lead with responsibility for budget, schedule, resources, quality, and progress reporting.
- Proactively communicate and drive the project forward with engineering team members and other stakeholders.
- Resolve technical questions related to manufacturing and erection globally.
- Participate in product technology development initiatives.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Sc. or M.Sc.).
- 5+ years’ proven experience in machine and equipment design, experience with boiler pressure parts and structures is an advantage.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and E3D plant design software.
- Fluent in English and Finnish, both spoken and written.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects or tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel globally to manufacturing workshops and project sites (Europe, China, India).
