About the role
- Acts as the lead engineer on upgrade projects with specific emphasis on Valmet sensors and profilers
- Responsible for upgrade project specification, installation, startup and performance reporting
- Works closely with the upgrade project manager to ensure customer satisfaction and project financial success
- Works with others in the NA and Finland as needed to successfully implement the upgrade projects
- Be occasionally available to assist sales, training and/or the help desk
Requirements
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Paper Science or a related field
- Five to ten years’ experience, preferably in the paper industry or an industrial setting
- Must possess a strong working knowledge of Valmet DNA equipment with a solid understanding of related processes & equipment
- Experience with Valmet Profilers and/or online measurement sensors is a plus
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license
