About the role

  • understand customers’ needs and turn them into a perfect Valmet solution
  • lead the technical sales team’s efforts to ensure the offer hits the target
  • create the winning concept and ensure the customer understands and believes in it
  • coordinate product and process design, proposal coordination, and technical negotiations
  • form a tight duo with the sales manager and act as the link between product team and customer
  • lead people throughout the organization to prepare technical proposals and cost estimation

Requirements

  • suitable educational background, preferably a Master’s degree in a relevant technological field
  • knowledge of recovery boiler processes
  • fluent English (other languages are an advantage)
  • ability to understand customers' needs and develop competitive solutions
  • great interpersonal skills to keep the sales team aligned
