About the role
- Provide assistance for the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairs of any equipment and components both on-site at customer locations or in the manufacturing facility
- Carry out service calls on a preventative and reactive basis as required, undertaking service and repair of products and systems to deliver against customers’ requirements
- Keep accurate records regarding job progress, delays, problems, deliveries, changes, extras, and engineering and fabrication errors
- Communicate with internal teams on project status, readiness, and/or issues that are resolved as part of QHSE
- Train customer staff to maintain and repair the equipment, to ensure knowledge is transferred
- Conduct audits at customer sites to record and analyze process improvement opportunities
Requirements
- 3+ Years of experience in the field with instrumentation, gas chromatographs, sample conditioning systems, and/or continuous gas analyzers
- A technical school diploma in instrumentation or Applied Sciences
- A University or Collegial Degree in electronics, electro-mechanics, or instrumentation
- A valid driver's license is required
