About the role
- Assist in legal research and legal analysis tasks
- Handle translation assignments, drafting and reviewing basic legal documents
- Perform administrative duties such as signing processes, maintaining legal files, and updating electronic IT systems
- Communicate with authorities and support in sanctions related screening processes
- Prepare Valmet’s statutory obligation to report the memberships of its associations for transparency registers
- Engage in everyday advocacy tasks and internal communication about the changing operating environment
- Collect and analyze prior art, evaluate inventions for patentability, and support patent application processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s student in law at university (Legal)
- Bachelor’s or master’s student in law, economics or technology at University (Corporate relations)
- Bachelor’s or master’s student in Technical university, majoring in Mechanical engineering, process & environmental technology, bioproducts, or engineering physics (IPR)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Systematic and organized working style and attention to details
- Proficiency in common MS Office tools (Excel, Word)
- Fluent English skills both spoken and written
