• Join Valley View's HIM team as a Charge Audit Specialist!
• This position will optimize and support charge capture across the organization.
• Partner with clinical departments to ensure billable services are accurately captured to optimize revenue stream.
• Supports charging accuracy among clinical departments.
• Promotes the accuracy of charging practices across the organization.
• Serves as a liaison between clinical areas and revenue cycle teams to translate billing needs.
• Effectively collaborate with practice operations in improving charge capture for their service lines.
• Is a resource for providers, clinical team members, and leaders regarding charging workflows, charge code questions, and compliant charging.
• Performs ongoing clinical service line reviews of medical records and associated billing to identify potential charging inaccuracies.
• Develops action plans for corrections, quantifies revenue impact, and partners with clinical areas until resolution.
