About the role
- Provide Tier 3 escalation support for large-scale Intune migration activities.
- Troubleshoot complex failures related to MECM/MCM task sequences, imaging, and wipe-and-reload processes.
- Resolve advanced Intune enrollment, Azure AD join, and compliance policy issues.
- Diagnose and remediate application deployment failures during and after migration.
- Support manual Intune enrollment and Autopilot workflows when automated processes fail.
- Analyze logs from MECM/MCM, Intune, Windows, and Azure AD to identify root causes.
- Partners with Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams to drive rapid resolution and knowledge transfer.
- Support migration waves, cutovers, and post-migration stabilization periods.
- Document known issues, root cause analysis, and remediation procedures.
- Identify recurring failure patterns and recommend process or automation improvements.
- Coordinate with engineering, security, networking, and service desk teams to resolve cross-domain issues.
- Ensure migration-related incidents are resolved in accordance with SLAs and operational priorities.
Requirements
- Active DoD Secret Clearance, with Top Secret eligibility
- BS degree and 8+ years of Windows systems administration/engineering experience. Experience can be substituted in lieu of degree
- CompTIA Security + CE or equivalent IAT Level II DoD 8570 certification
- Minimum of 7 years of enterprise Windows endpoint support experience
- Proven experience supporting large-scale Windows 10/11 to Intune migrations
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- o Microsoft Intune
- o Azure AD / Entra ID
- o Windows 11
- Working knowledge of MECM / MCM task sequences and OS deployment
- experience troubleshooting:
- Intune enrollment failures
- Azure AD join and device identity issues
- Application deployment and detection logic failures
- Configuration and compliance policy application issues
- Strong PowerShell skills for troubleshooting and remediation
- Ability to analyze logs and diagnostics across multiple Microsoft platforms
- Understanding of DoD and DISA cybersecurity requirements
- Must be able to commute onsite at least 3 days per week.
