About the role

  • Own the Credit Strategy and strengthen cash flow
  • Lead and manage goals tied to key performance indicators including Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), bad debt exposure, and credit limits
  • Develop and maintain policies for billing, cash application, credit limits, credit holds, and collections
  • Design and implement scalable procedures and technology‑enabled solutions to streamline billing, collections, and credit limit management
  • Build strong working relationships with Sales management
  • Manage, mentor, and develop the Billing, Cash Application, and Collections teams
  • Ensure daily bank reconciliations and support cash forecasting and visibility
  • Partner on acquisition integrations
  • Prepare and present monthly Accounts Receivable aging to the CFO and VP of Accounting

Requirements

  • Strong Financial Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, with 5+ years of billing and collections experience and at least 2 years of people management responsibility.
  • Process‑Driven and Analytical: Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to identify issues, design solutions, and drive measurable improvement.
  • Systems and Technology Savvy: Preferred experience supporting financial systems implementations and working across CRM and ERP platforms.
  • Collaborative Business Partner: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work cross‑functionally and influence stakeholders across Sales, Finance, and Operations.
  • Proven People Leader: Demonstrated success building, mentoring, and leading teams, with a passion for developing others and delivering high‑quality results under tight deadlines.
  • Hands‑On, Strategic Mindset: A “roll‑up‑your‑sleeves” leader who can balance detailed execution with an understanding of broader business and financial objectives.
