About the role

  • Research, design, build, and pilot an AI Brand Assistant for internal teams at Vaisala
  • Lead a project for three months starting in June
  • Deliver a functional, validated prototype tested and refined with internal teams
  • Discover and define features and capabilities of the AI Assistant from user research to documentation
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders across Communications, Marketing, HR, Sales, & IT
  • Shape how AI participates in brand stewardship
  • Help evolve the Brand function to leverage AI technologies

Requirements

  • Final stage of master's degree (MSc) in a relevant field such as Computer Science (with an AI/ML focus), Information Networks, Computational Design, Digital Art, or another discipline that combines technical skills with design and workflow analysis
  • Experience with prompt engineering: Demonstrated ability to write effective, structured prompts for both LLMs (text) and generative image tools (visual)
  • AI tool proficiency: Hands-on experience with leading Generative AI platforms
  • Visual literacy: A foundational understanding of design principles and brand guidelines
  • Self-driven: Ability to take full ownership of a large project and structure time and deliverables over the summer
  • Analytical and creative: Ability to translate abstract concepts (like "brand tone") into concrete technical logic
  • Practical communicator: Comfortable working with both technical peers in IT and non-technical stakeholders
