Operations

• Work closely with the founder and help scale the experience layer of VAWAA.
• Improve booking conversions and optimize the funnel from inquiry to repeat guest.
• Monitor key metrics representing bookings, guest & artist health.
• Partner with guest experience manager to own the end-to-end guest journey managing bookings, decisions, experience issues, follow-ups, CRM hygiene, templates, workflows, and the SOPs that help scale care without losing soul.
• Support artists with onboarding, gathering assets, offering guidance, co-designing, editing and support.
• Oversee confusion areas for guests and support needed by artists.
• Solve time-sensitive issues across time zones, cultures and contexts.
• Maintain responsive communication wherever guests and artists reach out.

Experience Operations Lead – Guests & Artists

• Lead and scale artist onboarding with speed, rigor, and editorial quality
• Manage all artist communications prompting submissions, gathering assets, offering guidance, co-designing, editing and support
• Understand their work, shape programs, rewrite descriptions, curate images
• Strengthen artist relationships & support their growth as hosts & teachers
• Partner with guest experience manager to own the guest journey end-to-end
• Manage bookings, guide decisions, and increase conversions
• Solve time-sensitive issues across time zones, cultures and contexts
• Use AI tools to build systems, automate repeatable work, and increase leverage
• Think proactively: identify bottlenecks, propose solutions, execute
• Create clarity, calm and momentum across a fast-moving global community

Operations & Experience Lead – Artists, Guests

Account Manager

• Research, identify, and onboard established artists from diverse disciplines (e.g., visual arts, crafts, design, etc.)
• Build relationships with artists, ensuring they align with VAWAA’s ethos and vision of offering high-quality, immersive experiences
• Outreach to and manage a pipeline of artists using CRM tools, ensuring organized tracking and timely follow-ups to achieve monthly acquisition and onboarding goals
• Conduct interviews, collect artist assets, and manage the process of adding new artists to the platform
• Support the design and programming of each artist's experience
• Organize and maintain the artist database with detailed information and smart tags to enhance accessibility and insights
• Advocate for each artist’s ongoing success within the VAWAA community through regular feedback loops, growth initiatives, and building trust and rapport
• Stay updated on global art and design trends, identifying creative opportunities with like-minded brands, art institutions, cultural organizations, and travel companies
