About the role
- Planning, operation and maintenance of the entire information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure
- Provisioning, setup and commissioning of technical devices, including installation of hardware and software
- Commissioning and configuration of system and network components
- Monitoring systems for currency, operational readiness and security
- Primary point of contact for technical problems, incidents and questions from internal users; providing advice and support
- Troubleshooting issues including root-cause analysis and planning preventive measures
- Management and assignment of user accounts and access permissions
- Planning, coordinating and performing regular software updates
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., Fachinformatiker / IT specialist) or a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Business Informatics, or an equivalent qualification gained through several years of professional experience—ideally with MacOS, Linux and Windows
- Initial experience with current client and server operating systems
- Conscientious, independent, goal- and team-oriented working style
- Enthusiasm for new developments and technologies
- Confident German and English skills, both written and spoken
