About the role
- Acts as a primary contact between Principal Investigators, Sponsored Research, and Research Financial Management
- Manages and mentors the college's Unit Research Administrator.
- Works closely with faculty and students in the development of proposals
- Provides technical assistance to facilitate the development of grant proposals
- Assists in critical review, writing, and editing of research proposals
- Calculates budgets and ensures inclusion of all appropriate elements
- Provides post-award financial administration and management for complex research funds.
- Advises the Principal Investigator on the most effective way to achieve a quality proposal
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and four years of research or research administration experience
- A Master's degree may substitute for two years of the required experience.
- Master's Degree and two years of project financial management experience at the college (preferred).
