About the role
- Serve as an integral part of the Talent Acquisition team by providing full-cycle recruitment service for the University of South Florida's Tampa campus
- Partner with hiring managers to fill exempt and non-exempt positions
- Research, develop, and implement effective strategies to develop high quality diverse talent pipelines
- Perform full-cycle recruitment through creative and cost-effective sourcing methods
- Proactively partner with hiring managers to identify current and future hiring needs
- Assess position requirements and candidate qualifications to ensure alignment with requirements
- Interview applicants to evaluate work history, education, training, and job skills
- Develop and maintain internal and external networks to ensure a strong pipeline of diverse candidates
- Use innovative sourcing and marketing/branding techniques to engage both active and passive candidates
- Track, monitor, and report ongoing recruiting activities through the disciplined use of the Applicant Tracking System
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and two years of HR related experience; or Master's degree in an area of specialization appropriate for the program
- Six years of HR-related experience or a combination of education and experience may substitute for the Bachelor's degree
- Bachelor's degree with at least five years of high-volume recruitment/talent acquisition experience (preferred)
- Experience working with an Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably Oracle and People Soft (preferred)
- Significant experience using the full recruiting capabilities of LinkedIn and other recruiting tools (preferred)
- Strong ability with MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (preferred)
- Strong communication, organizational and negotiation skills, with a keen focus on delivering business results
