About the role

  • Partner with key stakeholders on the definition, prioritization and delivery of key member insights research
  • Engage with research professionals to create an environment where every employee can achieve their potential
  • Lead the development of leading-edge research/ insights capabilities
  • Enhance action planning to help USAA win in the market, serve and retain more members
  • Build and lead high performing teams that deliver exceptional results through coaching, mentoring and matrix management
  • Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree OR 4 years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
  • 10 or more years of setting marketing/ member insight strategy and leading strategy development within business to consumers industries required
  • 6 or more years of people leadership experience in building, managing and/or developing high-performing teams required
  • In-depth knowledge of the trends and dynamics driving change in business to consumer businesses
  • Functional knowledge of marketing research, tools and techniques
  • Can represent and recommend the team’s capabilities with key internal stakeholders
  • Experience collaborating with key resources and stakeholders, influencing decisions and managing work to achieve strategic goals required
  • Executive-level business acumen in the areas of business operations, industry practices and emerging trends required
