About the role
- Respond to client inquiries within 24 hours with accuracy, professionalism, and empathy.
- Interpret client objectives and operational goals to provide tailored consultation on services and products.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet complex client needs, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
- Communicate technical results and service outcomes clearly and promptly, enabling confident client decisions.
- Work proactively with clients to resolve issues, build trust, and identify win/win solutions.
- Maintain open communication with clients and internal departments, including occasional after-hours responsiveness when client needs or time-sensitive issues arise.
- Serve as the client’s primary advisor for production planning, genetic services, and animal movement coordination.
- Collaborate closely with production teams to make informed service adjustments that align with evolving client goals.
- Support contracts, customer service agreements, and inventory management (cattle, embryos, semen).
- Monitor feedback, identify trends, and propose process improvements to enhance the client experience.
- Develop long-term relationships based on trust, responsiveness, and transparency with both clients and colleagues.
- Actively support client retention and loyalty through thoughtful, goal-aligned service.
- Represent Trans Ova Genetics professionally in appearance, communication, and ethical decision-making.
- Participate in cross-departmental initiatives to improve services, systems, and client outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required; emphasis in Animal Science, Agribusiness, or related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in a client-facing, consultative role within the agricultural or animal science sectors.
- Experience in bovine genetics, dairy, or beef production is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Comfortable with technology, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
- Ability to manage competing demands independently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proven ability to maintain balance between responsiveness and personal boundaries in a flexible work environment.
