About the role
- Maintain an active role in the weekly Design Flow Meetings.
- Take notes and manage follow up communication on all outstanding issues in collaboration with Designers and PD teams
- Tech Pack creation and updates.
- Create style numbers following PD’s allocation chart, ensuring comprehensive completion of all chart details
- Input sketches, design packs and trims to BOM after passed by design
- Maintain and update starter pages, incorporating accurate labels across sweaters classes for both Collection & We The Free classes
- Partner with PD on the status of styles in development daily to ensure product execution meets design specifications and are on track in style development process
- Prepare development packages and participate in follow up communication with vendor communication
- Responsible for shipping/ picking up packages across Sweaters category
- Review incoming garments with Designer and PD partners to ensure they are correct and in line with original intent as well as brand standards and update TS accordingly
- Update bulk approvals in Tradestone in partnership with Production / PD and design teams
- Assist in sample preparation for monthly sales review meetings by collaborating with Designer on innovative presentations that effectively communicate line to Buyers and Brand leaders.
- Help organize and propose new tools to help design team meet upcoming design deadlines
- Perform special tasks as needed
Requirements
- Strong sense of organizational skills as well as passionate of fast speed environment
- Proactive and self motivated is a must for this role
- Proficient in Microsoft & Google platforms (Slides, Docs, Gmail, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Excellent communication skills to communicate ideas and inspirations to others and to interact with Designers, Buyers and other Cross Functional partners.
- Strong organizational and relationship building skills and ability to intuitively respond and reprioritize as needs shift during the development process.
- Entry level technical knowledge of apparel construction.
