About the role

  • Provide operational and administrative support to the Design Team across Collection Sweaters and We The Free Sweaters teams
  • Maintain an active role in the weekly Design Flow Meetings
  • Take notes and manage follow up communication on all outstanding issues in collaboration with Designers and PD teams
  • Create style numbers following PD’s allocation chart, ensuring comprehensive completion of all chart details
  • Input sketches, design packs and trims to BOM after passed by design
  • Maintain and update starter pages, incorporating accurate labels across sweaters classes for both Collection & We The Free classes
  • Partner with PD on the status of styles in development daily to ensure product execution meets design specifications
  • Prepare development packages and participate in follow up communication with vendor communication
  • Responsible for shipping/picking up packages across Sweaters category
  • Review incoming garments with Designer and PD partners to ensure they are correct and in line with original intent as well as brand standards
  • Update bulk approvals in Tradestone in partnership with Production / PD and design teams
  • Assist in sample preparation for monthly sales review meetings by collaborating with Designer on innovative presentations
  • Help organize and propose new tools to help design team meet upcoming design deadlines

Requirements

  • Strong sense of organizational skills as well as passionate of fast speed environment
  • Proactive and self-motivated is a must for this role
  • Proficient in Microsoft & Google platforms (Slides, Docs, Gmail, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Excellent communication skills to communicate ideas and inspirations to others and to interact with Designers, Buyers, and other Cross Functional partners
  • Strong organizational and relationship building skills and ability to intuitively respond and reprioritize as needs shift during the development process
  • Entry level technical knowledge of apparel construction.
