About the role

Meeting or exceeding sales and inventory goals
Allocating for one or more product class
Responsible for store sales and inventory plans for assigned merchandise categories
Analyzing sales to stock ratios and product flow management-new purchase order and back stock allocations
Ensuring the right product is delivered to stores at the right time
Identifying opportunities and risks, recognizing trends by product category and attribute at the individual store and store group level
Partnering with planning to run size and color selling analysis to place future size and color buys
Collaborating with planning and buying to relate current store performance to impact upcoming buys
Prepping for and participating in monthly reforecast, strategy, buy meetings, and division roll
Communicating with distribution center as necessary
Partnering with the visual team and participating in weekly turnover meetings
Communicating weekly with DM’s about current business
Collaborating with peers to ensure consistency of information, share best practices and develop systems knowledge

Minimum 2 years allocation experience
High Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical skills measuring key retail metrics
Strong capacity for multi-tasking with an operational mindset
Ability to prioritize and maintain a high level of accuracy completing multiple tasks in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Strong communication skills
Open to constructive feedback
Team-oriented & collaborative
Organized, with a strong attention to detail
