About the role
- Lead the development of a merchandise planning process
- Develop and implement pricing strategies for key inventory sources
- Analyze SKU-level (attribute) performance
- Deliver clear and consistent weekly and monthly reporting
- Develop and implement innovative inventory management strategies.
- Own the end-to-end inventory flow and allocation process
- Serve as the primary liaison for the Transportation team
- Partner with Store Operations for all shipment timing, volume, and product categories
- Act as a strategic partner to URBN brand teams
- Manage relationships with external partners for damaged and unsellable goods.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Merchandise Planning, Allocation, or a related field.
- Proven analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong Excel skills are required.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills,
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage complex and changing priorities.
- A creative, results-driven mindset with the ability to "think outside the box" to challenge existing processes and drive innovation.
- Previous experience with an off-price retail is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Business, or a related field is preferred.
