About the role

  • Act as the lead representative for Manufacturing Engineering in all PD program forums.
  • Work in lockstep with Operations Program Managers (OPMs) and Engineering Program Managers (EPMs) to align equipment schedules with the master product schedule.
  • Understand and collaborate in developing the Plan of Record (POR), ensuring qualification plans, checklists and specifications are in place to support production release.
  • Drive the end-to-end development of manufacturing equipment, from initial requirements gathering and vendor selection (RFQs) to Final Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
  • Identify technical bottlenecks in the manufacturing process early in the design phase.
  • Manage changes impacting Manufacturing area to understand change impact and deployment planning.
  • Oversee the installation and bring-up of manufacturing lines at global sites, ensuring equipment meets yield, cycle time, and reliability targets.
  • Manage CAPEX/OPEX budgets for manufacturing development and ensure resources are allocated to the highest-priority program workstreams.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of technical project management experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment (Consumer Electronics, Automotive, or Medical Device preferred).
  • Strong understanding of Mechanical/Electrical engineering principles and the New Product Introduction (NPI) process.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical constraints into actionable project plans for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience managing global equipment vendors and Contract Manufacturers (CMs).
  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Possibility and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
