About the role

  • Prepare consolidated and standalone financial statements and disclosures to support global reporting and local statutory requirements.
  • Support the monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring accurate, complete, and timely financial reporting.
  • Maintain and update accounting and financial reporting policies to ensure consistency across entities and alignment with U.S. GAAP and evolving business activities.
  • Support consistent application of accounting policies across global subsidiaries through guidance and review.
  • Review significant contracts and transactions to assess financial reporting and disclosure implications.
  • Support external audits and reviews, serving as a key point of coordination for group reporting and local subsidiary audits.
  • Assist in managing audit deliverables, timelines, and issue resolution.
  • Strengthen the control environment by identifying and mitigating financial reporting risks through proactive ICFR monitoring and cross-functional process improvements.
  • Lead financial reporting process documentation efforts, identify control gaps, and support remediation initiatives.
  • Support financial reporting and controls related to equity-based compensation, including coordination of fair value inputs and related disclosures.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting workflows, documentation, and standardization.
  • Support long-term scalability, automation, and readiness for public-company reporting and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or equivalent professional certification required
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in public accounting and/or high-growth, technology-focused companies, with significant exposure to complex technical accounting matters
  • Strong command of generally accepted accounting principles
  • Highly self-directed and accountable, with a proven ability to deliver against defined objectives and timelines
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, effectively prioritizing competing demands and managing multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Collaborative and team-oriented, with the ability to work effectively across functions and levels of the organization
  • Critical thinker who can foresee potential obstacles and propose alternative approaches
