About the role

  • Focus on planning, implementing, and executing tests for end‑to‑end membership and commerce features across web and mobile experiences.
  • Work on both manual and automated testing.
  • Drive test automation efforts, reporting issues and bugs, and collaborating closely with developers to debug and resolve complex issues.
  • Own and refine testing capabilities, processes, and methodologies, contributing to continuous improvements in our test capabilities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams across Finland and the US to deliver high-quality products.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands‑on software testing experience
  • Proven track record of designing, building, and executing automated tests for complex web applications, ideally including commerce/checkout or subscription flows.
  • Experience testing web-based commerce and membership systems (payments, subscriptions, renewals, billing, promotions, account and entitlement management, integrations with payment providers or subscription platforms).
  • Experience testing complex, multi-component systems (e.g., web frontends combined with backend services and cloud-based applications).
  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (required) for web UI automation.
  • Proficiency with TypeScript/JavaScript for Playwright automation is required.
  • Experience in Python is required.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and best practices for continuous testing.
  • Ability to identify root causes of complex issues quickly and drive solutions across web, backend, and integration layers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of requirements and quality goals.
  • Experience using tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar is a plus, especially when applied to test automation, diagnostics, or tooling.
