Build dashboards and visualization tools to give our operations team, scientists, and engineers visibility into our studies
Improve and monitor data quality—building tests, tracking pipeline performance, and tracking down the root cause of issues as they arise
Design, deploy, and maintain pipelines to ingest new data sources, such as from surveys and sensors in our human research studies, in collaboration with DevOps teams
Support our data migration to a new platform: contributing to software pilots, and modernizing ingestion and transformation pipelines to meet engineering best practices
Requirements
5+ years of industry experience with data engineering tools (e.g. Github, Python, SQL, dbt, CDK, Dagster/Airflow/etc.) and cloud platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, AWS)
Track record of success data migrations or platform transitions
Comfort with building dashboards using tools like Tableau, Quicksight, or Hex
Fluency in storage and visualization of multi-modal time series data
Deep curiosity to dive into the details of human research studies
Is flexible with scheduling: comfortable with occasional global team calls outside normal business hours
