Recruit, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of engineers, fostering personal growth and technical excellence.
Drive end-to-end data product delivery—ensure on-time, high-quality releases that align with product goals and company OKRs, leveraging a scaled agile process.
Oversee architecture decisions, with a hands-on approach to evaluating tradeoffs across frameworks, pipelines, languages, etc.
Partner with product, and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable solutions. Partner with sales and customer success to identify future opportunities and to gather data product feedback (particularly quality).
Stay ahead of emerging technologies in GenAI, knowledge graphs, NLP, and machine learning. Foster a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
8+ years in software engineering management, with at least 3 years at the VP or senior director level. This experience should be in a relevant domain such as enterprise software/data products, cybersecurity, core search/DB platforms, or third-party risk management.
Experience in various software development processes/practices for delivering predictability and with quality.
Deep experience building and scaling cloud-native data products on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Broad understanding of entity resolution, data normalization, information extraction, and harmonizing unstructured data sources.
Practical experience working with Generative AI models in a production environment.
Capable of code review in Scala, Python, Go, Java, or similar programming languages.
