About the role
- Take full ownership of the strategic growth and long-term success of Upvest’s enterprise and fintech partners across Germany and Europe
- Develop and own strategic success plans for a portfolio of priority enterprise and fintech clients
- Drive commercial growth by identifying and executing upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Navigate complex organizational structures within large financial institutions
- Serve as a strategic advisor, deeply understanding clients’ business needs
- Manage high-stakes negotiations and complex contract renewals
- Collaborate with Product and Growth teams to convey market feedback
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in strategic account management or relationship management within fintech, investment banking, or B2B SaaS
- Proven track record of designing and executing long-term account strategies in complex, regulated environments
- Strong commercial mindset with experience driving revenue growth and managing high-value accounts and contract negotiations
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate technical API concepts into business impact
- Strong relationship-building and expectation-management skills
- Professional proficiency in both German and English (native or near-native German is essential)
- Proactive, structured approach and ability to work autonomously
- Solid understanding of the investment industry, current trends, and competitive landscapes
