About the role

  • Be responsible for profit and loss for the South African market
  • Lead and coach the sales teams
  • Take direct responsibility for a number of strategic accounts
  • Collaborate closely with the supply chain and markets team to understand and meet the needs of customers in South Africa
  • Identify and cultivate growth opportunities with both new and existing customers
  • Ensure clear, consistent and customer-focused communication
  • Be responsible for country-level target setting, product mix, sales strategy, selling prices and tactics

Requirements

  • You hold at least a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. marketing, sales)
  • You bring experience in managing profit and loss
  • You demonstrate inclusive and people-centered leadership
  • You have a track record in sales management
  • You have a broad understanding of commercial environments
  • You are motivated by achieving goals and demonstrate accountability and initiative
  • You communicate effectively and build strong professional networks
  • Knowledge of PSA or the packaging market is seen an asset; having worked in a B-to-B environment is required.
