About the role
- Be responsible for profit and loss for the South African market
- Lead and coach the sales teams
- Take direct responsibility for a number of strategic accounts
- Collaborate closely with the supply chain and markets team to understand and meet the needs of customers in South Africa
- Identify and cultivate growth opportunities with both new and existing customers
- Ensure clear, consistent and customer-focused communication
- Be responsible for country-level target setting, product mix, sales strategy, selling prices and tactics
Requirements
- You hold at least a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. marketing, sales)
- You bring experience in managing profit and loss
- You demonstrate inclusive and people-centered leadership
- You have a track record in sales management
- You have a broad understanding of commercial environments
- You are motivated by achieving goals and demonstrate accountability and initiative
- You communicate effectively and build strong professional networks
- Knowledge of PSA or the packaging market is seen an asset; having worked in a B-to-B environment is required.
