About the role
- As a Service Manager, you act as the link between our customers and our technical teams.
- With a passion for excellent service, you take responsibility for the entire service lifecycle, from request to operation.
- You manage, coordinate and inspire, ensuring our customers are always well looked after.
- You personally and directly support our customers with genuine service commitment.
- You maintain a continuous, needs-based dialogue and ensure close alignment with customers.
- You ensure transparent and meaningful reporting.
- You coordinate, manage and monitor our services and service agreements reliably and proactively.
- You maintain oversight during business-critical incidents (Major Incidents) and ensure a rapid resolution.
- You record changes, assess them and manage their implementation.
- You lead small to medium-sized projects and coordinate the overall project portfolio.
- You identify operational optimization potential, drive improvements actively and continuously develop our services.
- You support Key Account Management with technical and organizational expertise.
- You independently prepare proposals in collaboration with the Sales team.
- You manage the annual cost and budget process and keep track of the figures.
- You review delivered services and approve billings to our customers.
Requirements
- You have completed training as a (business) computer scientist (HF) or hold an equivalent qualification.
- You have solid experience in IT service management, IT presales or IT project management, ideally in a managed services environment.
- You have a deep understanding of infrastructure, outsourcing and cloud services, as well as experience in service delivery management.
- You demonstrate methodological strength in project management, presentations and solution-oriented, networked thinking.
- You are a hands-on, results-driven doer with a strong can-do mentality.
- You communicate confidently in German (native or at least C1) and English (at least B2).
