IT Support

• Assist Audit Support leader with documenting, tracking, and reporting of audit and due diligence requests performed on Upgrade

• As a subject matter expert of the platform, you will work closely with multiple stakeholders to help shape its direction and implement new features.

• Issue loans in the investor tool across all Upgrade products and manage collateral needs to ensure compliance
• Perform daily cash and movement reconciliations, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies
• Act as a central point of contact for cross-functional teams, addressing treasury-related inquiries
• Assist with the setup, maintenance, and improvement of wire distribution instructions and related processes
• Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
• Support month-end close processes, management reporting, and the preparation of reports for investors, senior management, and auditors

• Build a resilient, secure, and efficient cloud based observability platform.
• Monitor and troubleshoot platform issues, including finding solutions to reduce known issues.
• Build and scale the observability infrastructure to meet rapidly increasing demand.
• Develop and improve operational practices and procedures.
• Sample projects: • Improve database monitoring: develop custom prometheus exporters in Go for use cases that go beyond what is possible with SQL exporter. Create Grafana dashboards and alerts for these new metrics.

Principal Infrastructure Performance Engineer

Risk

• Upgrade’s Model Risk Management team plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity and reliability of the machine learning/statistical models used across the company.
• As a part of Upgrade’s risk function, we provide effective and independent challenges to assess, validate, and mitigate risks related to model development and usage, ensuring they align with regulatory standards and best practices.
• As a Model Risk Senior Analyst, you will be integral in identifying model risks and strengthening model robustness and performance.
• Review and validate statistical/machine learning models for various business areas, including Credit Risk, Fraud, Marketing, and Operations.
• Review and challenge model methodology, data process, outcome analysis to identify gaps and improve on model performance.
• Actively research new tools and techniques available for model development and validation.
• Collaborate with various teams across Upgrade in model validation process: Decision Science, Credit Risk, etc.
