Backend Engineer

• Architect and implement complex, high-impact features from start-to-finish
• Collaborate closely with the product manager and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Ship clean, maintainable code to production daily
• Participate actively in code reviews providing and receiving constructive feedback
• Troubleshoot and debug complex data and product issues
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability
• Help us define and improve our coding standards, development processes, and best practices
• Stay up to date on new technologies and promote their adoption when appropriate

• Lead end-to-end design projects, work closely with engineers, product managers and other stakeholders to ensure a high-quality implementation
• Create flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals
• Plan and run user research and usability tests
• Own our design system to ensure efficient delivery of new features
• Contribute to overall strategy and decision-making about product direction
• Collaborate with Marketing on our brand design, ensuring our app and communications feel coherent
