About the role

  • Facilitate and coach Operational Excellence activities to optimise value creation
  • Analyse data to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Lead problem-solving activities in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment
  • Drive the delivery of improvement projects aligned to waste reduction and performance enhancement
  • Influence and support teams through coaching, facilitation and practical guidance
  • Deploy lean tools and methodologies, including SMED, 5S, RCA and Standard Work
  • Support the Performance Management System and model best-in-class operational behaviours
  • Promote ownership of OE initiatives and cross-functional collaboration
  • Provide on-the-job training to colleagues where required
  • Champion health and safety standards and ensure safe working practices
  • Support the development and delivery of long-term Operational Excellence roadmaps

Requirements

  • Six Sigma Green Belt qualification (minimum)
  • Strong practical experience delivering Operational Excellence or Lean initiatives
  • Proven capability using lean tools within an FMCG environment
  • Deep understanding of OEE and how performance impacts site results
  • Experience leading and coaching teams through Root Cause Analysis
  • Demonstrable change management capability
  • Ability to influence, engage and coach teams at all levels
  • A data-driven, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
