About the role
- Prepare the weekly and monthly performance reports within ingredients and milk supply finance team
- Business Partner the planning and Trading teams to ensure consistency of information used across MS&I (Milk Supply & Ingredients)
- Provide support into the finance and operations teams responsible for making the best commercial decision of excess milk and cream
- Ensure appropriate four eye checks are carried out across milk supply and ingredients finance, for journals, price changes and reporting
- Maintain or create documentation of routine reports and processes in MS&I
- Management reporting as requested by Financial Controller
- Proactively seek to identify improvement in the month end process and monthly reporting
- Maximise efficient use of financial systems to report EBIT at customer level
- Support the Financial Controller Ingredients and Finance Analyst in delivering all financial reports accurately and ontime
- Business partner planning to ensure consistency of reports and information available for key forecasts
- Provide system support to analysts and management accountants within milk supply and ingredients
- Cover for analyst and management accountant roles in MS&I as required
Requirements
- Part qualified CIMA/ACCA or working towards qualification
- Ideally have experience of manufacturing/costing
- Experience of SAP
- Experience in a similar role
- Very accurate and strong attention to detail
- Strong excel and analytical skills
- Tenacious and proactive
- Good relationship building and communication skills
- Analytical problem solver with attention to detail.
