About the role
- Performs and directs general accounting and financial reporting activities.
- Represents the department in financial matters as necessary.
- Reviews accounting procedures and makes recommendations to increase effectiveness and accuracy.
- Concentrates on direct financial functions such as payroll, general ledger, accounts receivable or payable contracts or other related financial functions; and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting
- Three years professional experience in accounting and auditing as a supervisor
- Two years of experience in a health care organization
