About the role

  • Contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching during semester time.
  • Focus on developing research during non-teaching weeks.
  • Support new fields of research on contemporary Korea.
  • Contribute to the curriculum in Korean Studies.

Requirements

  • PhD in a relevant discipline at the time of application (politics, international relations, sociology, media and communications, social anthropology) awarded not earlier than four years from the date of advertisement of this post.
  • Fluency in English and Korean languages.
  • Commitment to high quality teaching and learning.
  • Experience of and the ability to design and deliver course materials.
  • Experience of teaching and assessment of student performance at undergraduate/ postgraduate level.
