About the role

  • Assist with staff, faculty, and adjunct faculty recruitment processes, including job postings, applicant communication, interview scheduling, onboarding, and hiring processes.
  • Maintain accurate employee information in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday / HiredScore), including new hires, position changes, and benefits eligibility.
  • Manage the Federal Work Study program, including hiring and tracking of budget.
  • Support benefits administration, employee trainings, and HR compliance deadlines.
  • Assist with employee relations documentation, performance review tracking, and policy communication.
  • Serve as a connection point between campus HR and System Office HR to support a One System Model, share best practices, and maintain consistent employee experience.
  • Provide general operational and administrative support at the campus and system levels, helping advance HR projects, committee work, and process improvements.
  • Participate in systemwide HR initiatives, workgroups, or pilots as needed, supporting standardization, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Support state authorization and distance education compliance, including tracking approvals, renewals, and reporting deadlines.
  • Maintain compliance documentation for accreditation, institutional reporting, and regulatory filings. Including IPEDS and CLERY reports.
  • Manage comprehensive data collection processes to ensure accurate, audit-ready reporting for the CBE and WSCUC.
  • Assist with annual compliance audits and updates to institutional policies and procedures.
  • Support Title IX compliance activities, including coordinating trainings, maintaining required documentation, assisting with annual reporting, and ensuring timely communication and tracking of Title IX–related processes.
  • Monitor changes in relevant regulations (Title IX, employment law, state authorization, and higher education compliance) and inform leadership as needed.
  • Maintain organized compliance calendars, tracking systems, and documentation archives.
  • Coordinate with academic departments and administration to gather required compliance data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field;
  • Experience in HR administration, compliance management, or higher education administration.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Familiarity with applicable federal and state regulations (e.g., Title IX, Clery, ADA, employment law).
