About the role
- Lead with vision and purpose driving educational outcomes, fiscal management, and personnel development of the Clinical Informatics division
- Collaborate closely with clinical and IT stakeholders, shaping curricula that align with organizational goals
- Directly supervise a team of licensed and unlicensed educators in the Clinical Computer Education department
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Oversee budget planning, interact with leadership and external partners, and champion a culture of continuous learning and exceptional customer service
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Education, Health-related, Analytical fields or similar
- Five (5) years of experience in instructional design, educational outcomes assessment, or education technology and/or Learning Management System administrator experience
- Proficient in education outcome assessment, evidence-based instructional design, adult learning theory, and education technology.
- Proficient communication skills, proven leadership abilities, and an understanding of patient- and family-focused outcomes.
- Experience as an educator in an academic medical center and/or academic setting with demonstrated leadership in assessing educational outcomes and utilizing technological resources to improve learning efficiency.
- Certification in Epic Electronic Health Record application(s), including TED Epic auto-grader badge
- At least Five (5) years leadership experience of Epic Principal Trainers (UAMS Health Computer Application Training Specialists)
