About the role
- Oversee the reliability, security, and performance of IT infrastructure
- Ensure high availability and performance of critical services
- Manage day-to-day operations of on-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure
- Lead root cause analysis and continuous service improvement initiatives
- Lead, mentor, and develop infrastructure and operations staff
- Develop and maintain infrastructure roadmaps aligned with institutional priorities
- Ensure infrastructure operations comply with institutional policies and regulatory requirements
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service providers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or operations roles
- 2 years of experience leading or supervising technical teams
- Strong knowledge of servers, network, storage, virtualization, and operating systems
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP; Azure preferred)
