About the role

  • The Director of Talent Acquisition leads the strategy, design, and execution of all recruiting and workforce planning initiatives to attract, engage, and hire top talent.
  • This role partners closely with executive leadership, HR, and business stakeholders to build scalable, data-driven recruiting programs that support growth, diversity, and organizational excellence.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with business goals and growth plans.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing recruiting team; establish clear goals, performance metrics, and development plans.
  • Partner with leaders to forecast hiring needs, prioritize requisitions, and design hiring plans.
  • Strengthen employer branding and candidate experience through compelling messaging, career site optimization, and social presence.
  • Design and continuously improve recruiting processes, workflows, and policies to drive efficiency, quality, and compliance.
  • Implement inclusive hiring practices and partnerships to build diverse talent pipelines.
  • Own the ATS and recruiting tech stack; leverage data and dashboards to drive decisions and improve outcomes.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and hiring managers; set expectations and provide market insights.
  • Manage agency relationships, contracts, and budgets to maximize ROI.
  • Ensure adherence to EEO, and other applicable employment laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred) or equivalent work experience.
  • 8–12+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including 3–5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience building and scaling recruiting teams in high-growth or complex environments.
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting best practices, employment law, and compliance.
  • Experience with ATS platforms, sourcing tools, and recruiting analytics.
