About the role
- Leading and managing the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for senior leadership positions.
- Securing top-tier national and global talent that aligns with the University's strategic plan.
- Ensuring a proactive, barrier-free, and highly professional search process.
- Mitigating reputational risk and ensuring a diverse candidate pool.
- Partnering with Hiring Managers, Search Committees, and senior leadership to define the search strategy, ideal candidate profile, and success metrics.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. RPR designation is an asset.
- Deep understanding of executive recruitment methodologies; knowledge of Post-Secondary Administrative structures; familiarity with ATIA and POPA and human rights legislation as it pertains to hiring.
- Expertise in competency-based interviewing, executive sourcing (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search), and talent mapping.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional executive presence and "high-touch" communication skills; ability to influence senior leaders and navigate complex committee dynamics.
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in full-cycle recruitment, including at least 5 years specifically dedicated to executive or senior-level searches within the post-secondary sector.
