About the role

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across Alberta and Canada.
  • Identify and advance new partnership and collaboration opportunities aligned with organizational and provincial priorities.
  • Represent the initiative in discussions with regulatory bodies, professional associations, and partner organizations.
  • Communicate with stakeholders through clear, professional written and verbal communication.
  • Oversee Growth & Partnerships projects, including planning, timelines, deliverables, communications, and progress tracking.
  • Develop and maintain project management tools, frameworks, and reporting processes.
  • Monitor risks, identify issues, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to long-term sustainability and growth planning.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and professional associations to support compliance and accreditation requirements.
  • Help develop and implement consistent standards of practice across participating Alberta institutions.
  • Track and support reporting, submissions, and applications related to professional discipline accreditation.
  • Support governance and organizational processes for Growth & Partnerships initiatives.
  • Coordinate documentation, follow-up, and action tracking for advisory and steering committee meetings.
  • Maintain core program and project documentation that supports accountability and informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Education, Research, and Design Leads on educational materials, conference abstracts, presentations, and scholarly outputs.
  • Prepare reports, executive summaries, briefing notes, and presentation materials for diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Contribute to strategic professional development and knowledge dissemination activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in health, social sciences, or a related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
  • 2 years+ experience with project coordination or project management in a health, community, academic, or related setting
  • Knowledge of Alberta’s healthcare system, including experience working with rural healthcare and/or community care systems
  • Experience working with professional regulation, governance, accreditation, or standards-based environments
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with a high degree of independence
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Familiarity with Alberta’s Caregiver-Centred Care initiative
  • Experience supporting multi-institutional or cross-sector partnerships
  • Experience contributing to reports, manuscripts, conference abstracts, or presentations
  • Experience with qualitative and/or quantitative research
  • Proficiency with SPSS and/or NVivo
