About the role
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Marketing Managers, providing direction, mentorship, and performance management.
- Drive product management and commercial activities across the region to support revenue growth and profitability.
- Manage strategic relationships with key suppliers, including pricing, business planning, and long-term growth initiatives.
- Develop and execute regional product and supplier strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Support and lead supplier negotiations, including pricing and buying plans.
- Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, finance, and marketing to implement effective commercial and operational strategies.
- Partner with sales teams by providing market insights, training, and guidance on product positioning and opportunities.
- Monitor business performance and support initiatives to improve profitability and market share.
- Ensure alignment between supplier strategies, product management activities, and commercial execution.
- Facilitate business growth through effective communication and coordination across internal teams and suppliers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Chemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Significant experience in product management, marketing, or sales, preferably within the pharmaceutical ingredients industry.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to manage, coach, and develop a team.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience supporting profitability and business growth.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make strategic, data-driven decisions.
- Experience developing and managing relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders.
- Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships with teams such as Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Finance, and Supply Chain.
- High level of decision-making ability, balancing supplier needs and company objectives.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex and diverse workloads.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Fluency in English required; additional European languages are a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems is preferred.
