About the role
- Contribute to developing and expanding Univar’s business within an agreed customer base/territory
- Build and maintain customer relationships with strategic accounts
- Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the customer’s senior management
- Support, enhance and execute the annual business plan
- Initiate, set up and execute sales projects
- Meet targets on cold calls to expand Univar’s business
- Negotiate sales terms and provide after-sales support
- Respond to and follow up on sample requests
- Prepare client quotations and analyze costs and sales.
Requirements
- Higher education (chemistry-related) preferred
- Extensive experience in B2B sales
- Previous experience in chemical or technical sales is an advantage
- Driver’s license required
- Excellent command of the local language and fluent in English
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to operate at different levels within the organization
- Experience working in an international environment.
