About the role

  • Contribute to developing and expanding Univar’s business within an agreed customer base/territory
  • Build and maintain customer relationships with strategic accounts
  • Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the customer’s senior management
  • Support, enhance and execute the annual business plan
  • Initiate, set up and execute sales projects
  • Meet targets on cold calls to expand Univar’s business
  • Negotiate sales terms and provide after-sales support
  • Respond to and follow up on sample requests
  • Prepare client quotations and analyze costs and sales.

Requirements

  • Higher education (chemistry-related) preferred
  • Extensive experience in B2B sales
  • Previous experience in chemical or technical sales is an advantage
  • Driver’s license required
  • Excellent command of the local language and fluent in English
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to operate at different levels within the organization
  • Experience working in an international environment.
