About the role
- Manage compensation and benefits programs for Univar's Chemical Distribution business unit
- Develop and manage compensation processes, programs, and policies
- Analyze market data and internal equity for salary structure recommendations
- Partner with HR Business Partners for employee-related compensation guidance
- Direct participation in global salary surveys for competitive market data
- Support Job Code Creation in HR systems for accurate employee data
- AOP & Labor Cost Planning for FTEs, contractors, and interns
- Manage benefits programs including vendor negotiation and policy optimization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 5-7+ years of progressive Compensation and Benefits management experience
- Strong knowledge of compensation principles, practices, processes, and regulations
- Experience with HRIS and compensation management systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of Mexican labor law, including IMSS, INFONAVIT, FONACOT and tax implications of compensation and benefits
