About the role
- Planning and execution of tasks for food projects and coordination of the laboratory team, including thorough documentation.
- Development of prototypes to demonstrate the functionality of our ingredients in applications such as baked goods, ready meals, dairy products, or plant-based alternatives.
- Conducting and documenting experimental series and evaluating tasting results in technical reports.
- Close collaboration with marketing, sales, and product management to develop new formulations and product concepts.
- Creation of innovative recipes and products for trade shows and industry events and their demonstration.
- Delivering product presentations in the form of live demonstrations, webinars, and trainings.
- Supporting the creation of marketing materials for campaigns and our digital knowledge hub.
- Operation of professional kitchen equipment and adherence to efficient workflows and regulatory requirements.
- Defining and implementing product specifications.
- Ensuring a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Requirements
- Passion for food — both the science behind it and the creative development of modern, trend-relevant products.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and a confident demeanor when dealing with internal and external partners.
- Good knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong presentation skills and a spirit of innovation with an inspiring personality.
- Confident communication in English is required for this position.
- Driving license class B.
- Degree in food science, food technology, or a comparable qualification through vocational training and professional experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in product development.
- Solid knowledge of ingredient functionality.
- Experience in product design, formulation development, process design, scale-up, production trials, or product launches is an advantage.
