About the role

  • Improve Univar’s position within each account by using consultative, value-driven selling strategies
  • Prospect for new business opportunities in the Biopharma and Nutraceutical segments
  • Focus on customer retention and satisfaction by offering tailored solutions
  • Provide technical support and consultative services to customers in pharmaceutical, biopharma, and nutraceutical markets
  • Maintain a clear and current view of your sales pipeline and use CRM tools to track progress
  • Set pricing and service levels, generate and manage quotations, and collaborate with local branches
  • Partner closely with Local Sales, Purchasing, and Operations teams to maintain optimal inventory levels
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of sales experience in Pharma Ingredients (raw chemicals)
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, chemical distribution, or industrial sales preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree (Chemistry, Technical Sciences, or related field preferred but not required)
  • Proven experience and understanding of the regulatory, technical, and commercial landscape of the Biopharma and Nutraceutical sectors
  • Ability to nurture and expand a robust professional network within the life sciences market
  • Competitive drive with a problem-solving mindset and a consultative selling approach
  • Strong business acumen, especially around the dynamics between manufacturers, distributors, and end-users of chemical products
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills with a focus on creating win-win outcomes
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
