About the role
- Manage and nurture key client relationships to ensure long-term partnerships and satisfaction
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing inquiries, concerns, and service requests in a timely manner
- Analyze client needs and develop customized solutions to enhance their logistics experience
- Monitor and track key account parcel deliveries, proactively resolving any service issues
- Conduct regular performance reviews with key accounts and provide data-driven insights
- Prepare and present tailored quotations by applying pricing policies and market intelligence
- Develop and maintain customer SOPs to ensure consistency in service delivery
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize service performance and improve customer experience
- Track and manage account billing, ensuring invoices are processed and payments are collected on time
- Identify growth opportunities within existing key accounts to drive additional revenue
- Assist in the claims process and ensure timely resolutions for key account clients
- Take on additional tasks as needed to support business objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field; MBA preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in key account management, business development, or sales within the logistics industry (preferably small parcel last-mile delivery)
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships while achieving business growth
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market trends for strategic decision-making
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Willingness to travel as required
