Security Engineer

• Support United Way’s food security team in reducing hunger with a focus on federally funded child nutrition programs.
• Provide programmatic communications, marketing, project coordination, advocacy, and program support.
• Develop engaging written and visual materials that support United Way’s food security work.
• Translate complex program and policy information into accessible materials for various audiences.
• Draft and support content for partner- and community-facing materials, including blog posts, newsletters, presentations, social media content, and reports.
• Create impactful print and digital materials using Canva or other design tools.
• Provide logistical and communications support related to food security advocacy priorities.
• Assist with the creation of briefing materials, talking points, and other tools that communicate policy priorities.
• Coordinate high quality in-person and virtual events advancing food security priorities.
• Provide communications, administrative, and project coordination support for broader statewide food security initiatives.
