About the role

  • Generate new SBA loan business through prospecting, outside calling, networking, attending conferences, and developing new referral sources within the healthcare industry.
  • Originate and fund SBA 7(a) loans nationwide, with a primary focus on healthcare-related businesses.
  • Maintain and apply a thorough understanding of the bank’s credit policy, SBA eligibility requirements, and necessary business practices to ensure accurate and complete loan application packages.
  • Achieve 100% of established annual production goals by year-end, as determined at or near the beginning of each year.
  • Generate loans that maintain an acceptable level of credit performance.
  • Assist Special Assets and Credit Services with servicing actions as requested within the assigned marketing area.
  • Participate in all required compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering training, as well as internal and external training programs, online training, meetings, and seminars or conferences.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent successful industry experience.
  • Minimum of three years of outside sales experience within the healthcare industry.
  • Demonstrated industry vertical experience in dental, veterinary, or medical sectors.
  • One to two years of SBA business development or related experience preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of current SBA SOP, regulations, and lending practices.
  • Strong verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient administrative and technical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel.
