About the role
- Design, implement, and support infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Administer, maintain, and optimize Kubernetes clusters for containerized workloads and microservices.
- Build and operate CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) for seamless application deployment and infrastructure delivery.
- Ensure high standards of observability with robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Provide lifecycle support and maintenance for Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux Server (RHEL/Ubuntu/More) environments.
- Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity federation technologies.
- Support core infrastructure including virtualization, cloud platforms, enterprise storage, and backup solutions.
- Oversee deployment and maintenance of Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure.
- Implement patching strategies, hardening procedures, vulnerability scanning, and antivirus controls to ensure platform security.
- Enforce configuration management and compliance policies.
- Participate in Business Continuity Planning (BCP), BCP Testing, and Audit readiness programs.
- Serve as a technical lead for infrastructure and platform initiatives, collaborating with Engineering, DevOps, Network, Security, and Compliance teams.
- Develop and document platform standards, engineering procedures, and knowledgebase materials.
- Mentor and support less-experienced team members by sharing best practices and conducting technical reviews.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft-based infrastructure systems in an enterprise setting.
- Minimum 3 years of experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and platform automation tools.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent education experience.
- Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, and other IaC tools.
- Expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Experience with VMware, Nutanix, and Public Cloud Providers.
- Knowledge of enterprise storage systems and backup solutions.
- Strong understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy Management.
- Familiarity with enterprise networking concepts including firewall rules, VLANs, routing, and DNS.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Kubernetes Administrator, Terraform Associate, Microsoft Certified, AWS/Azure/GCP Certifications) are highly desirable.
